I wanna look like what I am but don’t know what someone like me looks like. I mean, when people look at me I want them to think— there’s one of those people that reasons, that is a philosopher, that has their own interpretation of happiness. That’s what I am.

About Me

I am trained in Feminist Political Science and Feminist Theory. I also identify as a self-taught Queer Theorist. I taught from 2018-2023 at both Rutgers University and then Bryn Mawr College. I am currently an APSA Congressional Fellow and plan to pursue a career in policy and advocacy.

I grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana and attended Tulane University in New Orleans from 2011-2015. I am one of seven children and still have family in Louisiana! I definitely miss the humidity, food, and culture.

I have put down roots in the Philly/South Jersey area where I live with my partner Kait and our dog Bean.

I am autistic and have ADHD (#AuDHD). I’m still learning how to be the best disability advocate possible but think it’s important for me to use my semi-public platform to talk about disability and accessibility.

I am a non-binary (trans) lesbian, and love all things queer and trans.
